Earthwise Solutions LLC is a Michigan-based cleantech startup specializing in the integration and deployment of advanced, chemical-free technologies for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and PFAS/PFOS remediation.

We collaborate with leading manufacturers to deliver scalable solutions that achieve effective mineralization of PFAS while minimizing environmental impact and operational costs. Our focus is on grant-funded verification pilots that generate third-party validated data to support regulatory acceptance and full-scale implementation, helping utilities meet emerging contaminant standards and protect vital water resources.

Chemical-Free Degreasing & Oil Remediation

Our non-chemical degreasing and remediation solutions safely remove and treat oil, grease, and hydrocarbons from surfaces and waste streams without introducing toxic substances.

• Fast-acting degreaser lifts embedded oil and grease from concrete, asphalt, metal, equipment, and industrial surfaces
• Bioremediation agents break down collected oils and hydrocarbons into harmless CO₂ and water
• Reduces disposal costs, eliminates hazardous waste, and ensures zero risk to waterways or wildlife
• Safe for use on hot surfaces and in overflow or spill scenarios

These treatments provide a complete system: surface cleaning followed by biological treatment of oily waste, making them ideal for maintenance yards, transfer stations, and wastewater facilities.

Chemical-Free Wastewater Treatment

Our biological pre- and post-treatment solutions use non-chemical enzymatic and microbial blends to reduce organic loading and improve system performance without introducing harmful substances.

• Reduces BOD, COD, TSS, ammonia, E. coli, hydrogen sulfide, and odors
• Improves sludge settling and volume reduction for easier handling
• Protects downstream equipment and infrastructure from organic buildup
• Enables safe discharge during overflow events with zero risk to wildlife or ecosystems

These treatments create a cleaner feed for downstream processes, lowering energy demand and extending equipment life while keeping everything non-toxic and environmentally safe.

PFAS/PFOS Remediation

We offer advanced, chemical-free destruction technologies designed for complete mineralization of PFAS, including PFOS and PFOA, with zero hazardous waste or liquid residuals.

• One system uses in-situ separation and destruction in coagulated solids, producing reusable water and non-hazardous byproducts
• Another uses specialized electrode systems for direct breakdown into harmless inorganic compounds (CO₂, fluoride ions, and others)

Both options are engineered for high efficiency in single-pass treatment, with low energy use and full compatibility with real-world wastewater matrices.

Infrastructure Protection

Our zirconium-silicate-based ceramic coatings provide long-term preservation for wastewater tanks, pipes, and structures exposed to harsh conditions.

• Chemically bonds to concrete surfaces, sealing pores and cracks permanently
• Prevents corrosion, abrasion, and biological growth
• Biologically impervious and resistant to UV, chemicals, and extreme temperatures
• Extends asset life by 30+ years with minimal maintenance

These coatings stabilize and protect critical infrastructure, reducing replacement costs and downtime.
